Leadership Academy at AiPD
On Wednesday, February 17, Student Affairs and Career Services are hosting a Leadership Academy titled “Know Your Network: Yes, YOU Have One Too.” Learn the secrets on finding a job based on who you know, rather than just what you know.
The Academy will be held in Room 263 from 4:45-6:00 p.m. Dinner will be served, but you must RSVP by Tuesday, February 16 to attend. To sign up for the Academy please email Katie Jundt at kjundt@aii.edu and please indicate if you have any dietary restrictions.
The guest speaker will be Gillian Kennedy. Gillian has worked in business development, marketing, and interactive media for companies such as Keane Footwear, PopArt, and Conquent. She has served as the chapter president for the American Marketing Association as well as the Software Association of Oregon. The key in all of this? Because of how well she networked, her resume rarely mattered.
