Internationally recognized chef and author, Cory Schreiber, joins The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Portland as Culinary Artist-in-Residence. Winner of the James Beard award and long-time devotee of local and sustainable food, Schreiber is most recently known for his work with the Oregon Department of Agriculture’s Farm-to-School program—a program that connects Oregon's K-12 schools and local farms, with the goal of serving healthy meals in school cafeterias. “Chef Schreiber brings an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience to bear as he takes on his new role as an educator at the International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Portland. Over the last 30 years, he has made a mark as a visionary in the culinary arts. His thoughtful approach to education supports our overall mission to prepare our students to be future leaders in the field,” said Chef Ken Rubin, Culinary Department Director at The Art Institute of Portland.
